Onshore wind farm operations and maintenance (O&M) has been a fragmented and fast-changing sector, but the combination of ageing, older generation wind farms and the steady build-out of new, technologically advanced projects around the world is expected to create a global market that will grow steadily from $9.25bn to $17bn by the end of the decade.
O&M is becoming a sector in its own right, rather than a bolt-on to construction of a wind farm.
