“Innovation and cost reduction I think will be the key drivers (to convincing businesses to decarbonise). And those fit together with increasing deployment,” US secretary of energy Ernest Moniz said at SIF2015, which was held on the sidelines of the UN climate talks.
He added that the industry needs to innovate not just in technological terms, but also with regards to business models.
