“Our members told us more than a year ago that they would like to transfer EWEA from being a very ideologically green organisation to become a more streamlined industrial association, not because they have anything against green industries, but because they perceive themselves and want to be perceived as energy providers,” EWEA chief executive Thomas Becker tells Recharge.
