The wind farm, developed by Iberdrola's subsidiary Rokas, is located in the Nafplio municipality in the Peloponnese Peninsular and is comprisedof 19 Gamesa G80 and G87 2MW turbines.
The start up puts Iberdrola in first place in the Greek wind power market, with 255.3MW from 17 wind farms, equivalent to 20% of Greece's total capacity. Iberdrola Renovables, which acquired Rokas in 2004, now has 200 people working for it full time in Greece.
