The Spanish utility says in a note to stock markets that it maintains a strong commitment to clean energy and plans to invest €7.9bn — a third of its total investments in 2016-20 — in renewables.
Of that amount, €4.23bn will go to onshore wind and €3.46bn to offshore wind. Three quarters of the new projects are already being built, while the rest are in advanced development stages.
