Around 97% of the company's total capacity comes from wind power. Of the new capacity, 714-megawatts (MW) or almost 50% of the total was installed in the US, where the company now has a capacity of 3.6GW.
In the UK, another of the Iberdrola Renovables’ priority markets, capacity grew by 20% to reach 802MW.
The company also has 275MW in France, 219MW in Greece, 161MW in Poland, 92MW in Portugal, 80MW in Mexico, 78MW in Hungary, 66MW in Italy, 63MW in Germany, and 49MW in Brazil.
