The deal involves Hyundai Heavy and state run Korean Southern Power Co building a 50 MW wind farm in Pakistan under the auspices of the Pakistani government’s Alternative Energy Development Board. The contract is worth around $52.65m, with construction due to start in 2011.
Hyundai Heavy wins Pakistan wind turbine contract
Korean ship builder and industrial company Hyundai Heavy Industries has won a contract to supply 30 1.65 MW wind turbines for a project in Pakistan, according to state-run trade promotion board Kotra.
