Erection of the 154-diameter rotor Siemens turbine atHTCOW, slated for “mid-September”, will be followed by that of Mitsubishi’sflagship 7MW SeaAngel, being advanced through the UK’s Efficient Offshore WindProgramme, launched last year by a consortium comprising Mitsubishi PowerSystems Europe, SSE and contractors Technip and Wood Group.
Business development body Scottish Enterprise, which isworking with developer SSE at the site, is inviting expressions of interest forleasing of the last berth, targeting switch-on by July 2015.
