Huaneng's wind, solar generation spike in May

The Chinese developer’s gross power generation hit 2247.1GWh in May, up 43.4% on the year.

For the five months to 31 May, its wind farms generated 8500.6GWh, up 33.4% from a year earlier.

Its solar projects generated 392.9GWh in the first five months of 2016, up 23.9% from the corresponding period a year earlier.
