The construction group’s new heavy-lift jack-up ship Vidar will be built at the Crist shipyard in Poland and enter service in 2013.
Vidar will boast a 1,200 tonne crane, a loading capacity of up to 6,500 tonnes and the ability to work in water up to 50 metres deep.
It will be used on Hochtief's own construction contracts and chartered to third parties.
