The new ten- to 20-year off-take agreements include 80MW of PV and 701MW of wind, mostly in the US, and represent "the largest, and most diverse, purchase of renewable energy ever made by a non-utility company", according to Google, which bought another 61MW in late November and has now contracted 2GW of clean output.

It signed an agreement with Spain's Acciona Energía to buy 80MW of power from the 247MW El Romero PV project under construction in Chile, and due in service in 2017.
