The towers are for deployment at the 20MW Musselshell Project Goldwind is developing in the state of Montana.
Installation of the equipment is due to begin at the site in Shawmut during the second half of the year.
Goldwind has used US-based Broadwind’s towers before at its American projects, notably its 109.5 MW Shady Oaks wind farm in Illinois.
The sector is currently at the centre of a trade spat, after the US Commerce Department (DOC) imposed tariffs as high as 26% on Chinese-made utility-scale wind towers imported into the country.
