The first phase of construction will begin near Glen Innes, New South Wales, later this month, according to an emailed statement.
Goldwind — one of the world’s leading turbine OEMs — will install 70 of its 2.5MW machines at the site.
It will also handle EPC duties and operate and maintain the $400m project, which is situated roughly 500km north of Sydney.
