Gestamp plans to manufacture more than 110 offshore towers a year at the plant under its brand GRI Towers Sevilla, the port authority said.
The plant is slated to be built on an area of 159,700 square metres in the steel complex of the port and create some 400 jobs. The port of Seville via the Guadalquivir River has access to the Atlantic Ocean.
