"The BEE would like to participate in this dialogue with constructive proposals," BEE president Fritz Brickwedde said.

"The issue now is to let the climate deal from Paris be followed by action and put our energy supply quickly on the clean basis of 100% renewable energies."

German climate gas emissions recently have hardly budged, as despite a rapid expansion of renewables, coal and lignite combined still meet a larger share of its electricity needs.
