Enel Green Power has previously said it was in advanced talks to sell a minority stake in its large portfolio of North American assets, with a deal expected by the end of the first quarter.
On the last day of the quarter, the Italian renewables developer made good on that pledge, pulling back the curtain on a blockbuster deal with GE Energy Financial Services.
