GE swoops for turbine blade giant LM Wind Power in $1.65bn deal

GE has agreed a $1.65bn deal to buy LM Wind Power, one of the biggest names in the global wind-blade sector, in a move the US industrial giant told Recharge will help "break down the silos" of turbine design and manufacturing.
