In the first quarter, GE Renewable Energy took $2bn of orders for equipment and services in Q1, a 110% increase from a year earlier, which included the recently acquired power business of Alstom.
Orders for the new 2.x and 3.x turbine products accounted for almost 70% of 711 in new units totaling 1.55GW, almost double 376 a year earlier, while deliveries increased to 616 from 472.
