GE will deliver 55 of its 2.75-120 “brilliant” turbines to the Huaneng Dali Longquan wind project, in a deal that also includes a two-year service agreement.
The order – for which no schedule was given – is a boost to GE in a Chinese market where it and other western turbine makers have struggled over recent years, in the face of competition from increasingly prolific domestic OEMs.
