Gamesa will supply and install 15 of its G90-2.0 MW machines at the plant, which is being developed by Eolica Erchie in Brindisi.
The deal was signed with the developer’s EPC contractor Toshiba Europe T&D.
Installation is expected to begin before the end of the year, says Gamesa, which has installed more than 1.5GW in Italy over the last decade.
