Gamesa will build wind farms of 50MW and 108MW in the states of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, equipping them with its G97-2.0 MW Class S turbines.
The OEM said the turbines, with 104-metre towers, are designed for the low-wind sites prevalent in India.
The turnkey projects are due for commissioning in July this year and February 2016. Gamesa will maintain them under long-term service deals.
