Gamesa says it has chosen Glasgow for a new offshore technology centre which it says will create 130 new jobs. It has also “expressed its interest to the Scottish authorities” to establish its industrial activities, including manufacturing, logistics and operations and maintenance in the Dundee area. Gamesa says that the plan is “dependent on the development of offshore projects in the area and the availability of sites for prototypes.”
