Gamesa says it has installed its 'Energy Thrust' software at wind parks with 3.45GW in capacity in 14 countries, resulting in an up-to 5% rise in turbine output.
The move comes amid a rising trend among turbine manufacturers to push into the lucrative global wind power service market.
"This contract reinforces our work as technology experts and value-added O&M specialists," says Gamesa services director Xabier Urcelay.
