Gamesa will supply 45 G90-2.1MW machines to the New Creek wind farm in West Virgina, and will provide O&M services for five years.
The deal is Gamesa’s first with Enbridge, which aims to bring the wind farm online by the end of 2016.
Enbridge, the world’s largest operator of oil and gas pipelines, has set aggressive renewables targets that could see it triple capacity over the next five years.
