Spain's Gamesa says it has prepared an “integral solution” to suit the conditions of the site, including supplying a "Class S" version of the G87 turbine that can be installed in “close to Class I” sites – increasing energy production by 8% compared to the former G80-2.0 Class I model.
Gamesa will begin supplying the turbines from October.
Gamesa and Longyuan have jointly installed 1.73GW
