The facility in Tarragona is made up of 15 Gamesa G90 2MW wind turbines.
Gamesa says that the wind farm will be handed over to Greentech in September 2011, once the regional government in Catalonia has approved the transfer of ownership.
The Spanish turbine manufacturer’s Gamesa Energía division develops wind farms around the world and sells them off to generators.
It expects to sell around 400MW of wind projects in 2011 and is jointly developing 300MW with local companies in China.
