The Spanish manufacturer will install 50 units of its G97-2.0MW class S machines in Dhar district, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

The project will be commissioned next March, according to an emailed statement.

The new turbines, which have been certified by TÜV Nord, will be mounted on 104-metre towers.

They have been specially designed for India’s low wind-speed sites.
