Gamesa will supply and install 24 of its G90-2MW turbines for Concord New Energy’s (CNE) 48MW Canfang wind farm, located in the province of Yunnan in southern China.
The Canfang machines will have to withstand the low temperatures and low air-density associated with working in high altitudes.
The Spanish group says CNE is a new customer. The turbines are due for delivery in May so the project can be commissioned during the second half of this year.
