Gamesa gets 75MW India order from IPP ReNew Wind

The order is for 50MW of G97-2.0MW turbines and 24.65MW of G58-850kW machines. It is the first for Gamesa from ReNew.

The turbines will be installed in Maharashtra state, with delivery to be completed by the end of the year. Gamesa launched its G97-2.0MW turbine in India earlier this year.

“The new 74.65 MW order from ReNew Power to Gamesa India comes as a real booster dose for the overall wind energy sector, reassuring and strengthening the wind energy market's confidence,” says Gamesa India chairman Ramesh Kymal.
