Gamesa will bring two new turbines to the event – theG106-2.5 MW and G114-2.5 MW – based on technology from its tried-and-tested 2.0 MW platform.
The turbines come with longer blades of 106-metres and 114-metres respectively. According to the manufacturer, they produce 30% more power than the 2MW G90 and G97 models while lowering the cost of energy by 10%.
Gamesa will also use WindEnergy Hamburg to unveil Gamesa WindNet PRO, an advanced version of its wind farm control and monitoring software.
