The EGM, expected to take place on 25 October in Zamudio, Spain, would ratify Gamesa's plans to take-over Siemens wind assets in exchange for newly-issued Gamesa shares, resulting in a combine 59% owned by Siemens, 33% by Gamesa and 8% by Spanish developer Iberdrola, which already held a stake in its compatriot OEM.
Gamesa's shareholders will also vote on distribution of an extraordinary cash dividend of €3.59
