Twenty-five of the machines, a model specifically designed for low wind-speed sites in the region, will be delivered for the Khanapur project, located in Maharashtra.
It is the second deal with the IPP, to which it supplied 50MW of turbines last October for the same development.
The new turbine, which features 47.5 metre-long blades powering a gearbox-driven double-fed induction generator housed in a nacelle with a tower height of 104 metres, has been certified by German classification body TÜV Nord.
