The Spanish group confirmed that HFE – a subsidiary of India’s biggest manufacturer of motorcycles – was one of three independent power producers (IPPs) that signed 220MW of supply deals it announced in July.
The deal with HFE includes supply of 45 2MW turbines and long-term O&M agreements at sites in Karnataka and Rajasthan.
HFE was set up last year with an ambition to have 1GW of renewables in place by 2017.
