The company closed the supply deal with Banco Minas Gerais (BMG) and Ventos Tecnologia, which together with state utility Furnas will build the Famosa wind farm on the borders of Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte states.
Fuhrländer will provide 55 2.5MW turbines for the R$300m ($171m) project, which won a 20-year contract in the August A-3 power tender at a rate of R$ 99.70/MWh.
