FEE's data also revealed Vestas turbines contributed 383MW, or 37%, of the 1.042GW installed last year – making the Danish group 2014’s number-one supplier in France.
Germany's Enercon ranked second by supplying 224MW, or 22%, while Senvion was responsible for 19%, delivering 196.8MW.
Last year’s wind additions required a total investment of about €1.5bn ($1.73bn), said FEE, and brought France’s total installed wind power capacity to more than 9GW.
