The wind industry had suggested to the government to support floating offshore projects of between 15MW and 60MW in the tender, according to Matthieu Monnier, who heads FEE’s offshore section.
Based on a €150m ($165.6m) investment subsidy the projects are slated to receive, the tender likely will be for a maximum combined capacity of 120MW, an FEE press official told Recharge.
