Pierre Parvex, president of offshore commission at FEE, said the country’s maritime sector was “mobilising strongly” to develop the technologies and supply chain needed for the four zones being tendered by Paris in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, but cautioned if “pre-commercial floating wind farms [are not commissioned] by 2020, competitive advantage could be lost”.
