The Scandinavian country plans to develop six terawatt hours of wind power by 2020 as part of an effort to reach its EU renewable directive targets via the FIT system, giving power producers a fixed price of €83.5 ($124.6) per megawatt hour (MWh) for 12 years.

The proposals, from a working group in the Ministry of Economic Affairs, also involve a kick-start bonus to projects of €90.2/MWh
