Climate Policy Initiative's (CPI’s) Global Landscape of Climate Finance study shows that while public sources and intermediaries contributed $137bn in 2013, a figure largely unchanged from the previous year, private investment totalled $193bn, falling by $31bn from 2012.
Although private investments fell by 14% compared to the previous year, according to the study, it still makes up the majority of climate-related finance.
