While the US wind industry remains cautiously optimistic that the Production Tax Credit will be extended for two years during the upcoming congressional lame-duck session in spite of the election results, a host of other clean-energy- and climate-related issues will face a tougher slog under a Republican-controlled Senate.
A number of sitting pro-renewables Democratic senators were toppled by Republican candidates who are decidedly less friendly to wind and solar energy.
