Michael Lewis, managing director of E.ON climate and renewables, speaking at the Recharge Thought Leaders Roundtable, asked whether the industry is doing enough to promote what it has achieved.
“I have been coming to EWEA events for years, but it’s always the same debate about grids, innovation and costs,” Lewis said.
“When I look at the UK’s London Array [inaugurated in mid-2013] and compare it to projects we are doing today, the levelised cost of energy has come down enormously.
