Siemens supplied its 3MW turbines for the project, which is located in Yurihonjo, in northwestern Japan’s Akita prefecture.
The site is expected to annually generate enough electricity to supply power to roughly 30,000 homes, according to an online statement.
The “Yurikogen” project — first announced in early 2014 — is Eurus Energy’s largest wind farm in the prefecture.
In February, it completed an 18MW project in Akita.
