The monopiles will have a diameter of up to 6.80 metres and a length of up to 70 metres. "The punctual start of manufacturing is an important step for the Sandbank project," says Christian Vogt, head of corporate investment management at SWM.
Sweden's Vattenfall owns 51% of Sankbank, while SWM holds 49% in the project.
