It is the finalisation of a deal first announced last August, Fiera Axium confirms to Recharge. At the time, EDPR said Fiera's stake in the portfolio would be equivalent to about 400MW.
The move adds to the trend of renewables operators in North America selling off stakes in their portfolios to free up capital for new developments.
EDPR’s portfolio comprises projects in seven US states, which use a variety of turbine types and have an average of 16 years left on their PPAs.
