The €27m pilot, which will see a full-scale trial of the concrete-and-steel concept off Aguçadoura in northern Portugal near the site of the WindFloat floating wind prototype, will be run for four years by a consortium led by EDP's renewables arm, EDP Renováveis (EDPR).
