The wind farm, located off the coast of Redcar in northeast England, will be commissioned by the end of 2012.
The Teesside project will consist of 27 Siemens 2.3MW turbines. It is being developed by EDF Energy Renewables, EDF-EN’s UK subsidiary.
Work on the wind farm started last year with the construction of an onshore substation and the grid connection. Work on the installation of the monopile foundations began on 2 February.
