EDF Renewable Energy, the San Diego-based subsidiary of France's EDF, and the eighth-largest owner of wind capacity in the US, has staked out an early leadership position among renewables developers securing long-term PPAs directly with major US corporations.
A year ago Microsoft Corp. signed its largest-ever renewables PPA for the full output from EDF RE's 175MW Pilot Hill wind farm in Illinois.
