The European Energy Programme for Recovery (EEPR) earmarks €1.1bn for a dozen CCS projects, and another €565m for offshore wind schemes, which individual firms and contractors are able to submit tenders for. The EEPR was officially agreed last month.
Project promoters must submit their proposals by 15 July, with the Commission (EC) expected to begin writing cheques before the end of the year.
