E.ON has submitted planning applications for the 59.4MW Benbrack and 83.2MW Loch Urr wind projects in Dumfries and Galloway.
Benbrack is an 18-turbine site located 5km to the northeast of Carsphairn, while Loch Urr is a 26-machine project 6.5km south west of Moniaive.
Changes have been made to the proposed wind farms to reflect both community and environmental feedback, including a significant reduction in turbine numbers, the developer said.
