The results, which came from 283 GE 1.5-77 machines that were part of the 469-turbine trial, are a vote of confidence in the OEM's so-called "brilliant wind" industrial internet technology, which analyses tens of thousands of environmental data points on a development in real-time to tune up power output.
If the same numbers are mirrored across the full enrollment of turbines, it would work out to an extra 87GWh of production for E.ON
